It took almost two years, but the new album “Jazz” is soon to be released! A lot of the songs were written for the movie, Douchebag, which made it to the Sundance Film Festival this year. Although I had four existing songs and a collaboration (w/ IMMOOR) in the film, only one new song (1780) made it into the film.
This album, easily, is my favorite release to date and I’m so excited for you all to hear it!

Drake Doremus’s Sundance Film Festival entry “Douchebag” has been acquired for U.S. distribution by Red Dragon, it was announced today. Red Dragon will partner on the project with former William Morris Independent head Cassian Elwes, along with Mark Urman, whose company, Paladin, will handle the film’s theatrical release and marketing. A September release is planned.
